In the market for household pest control products, the variety of formats is the norm, not the exception. A manufacturer must be able to manage profoundly different references on the same line: from precision gel syringes Ai cumbersome mechanical devices, like traps.
The challenge overcome with this project was the implementation of a solution capable of instantly adapting to heterogeneous forms, while ensuring aimpeccable aesthetics.
The result is a packaging that not only protects the contents, but enhances their visibility in stores, meeting the strict presentation standards of the Home Care sector.
To meet a need for extreme flexibility, we have focused on the thermoforming machine VKF50, configured with the technology of positive shape. This technical choice was fundamental to manage the variable depth of the cells and guarantee a millimetric locking of heterogeneous products: from shaped syringes, to prevent accidental spillage, to heavy mechanical components in the non-food sector.
The added value of the project lies inintegration of an automatic “spreadsheet” system, which inserts instructions or graphic cards directly into the blister before welding. In addition, we have paid the utmost attention to the operator: the loading area has been designed with technology Knee Free (to allow the sitting position) and Piano backlight, facilitating the correct manual positioning of the products with maximum comfort.
