In the salty snack market, packaging speed is the critical success factor. For a leading international player, we have developed a solution based on the thermoformer VKF110, designed to operate on continuous shifts at a very high frequency. The challenge was twofold: to saturate massive production lines, ensuring the integrity of fragile products (such as pretzels and extruded mixes) and to use the monomaterial polypropylene for optimal storage and total recyclability.
The Veripack solution has allowed the integration of multiple formats on the same machine and smooth management of automatic unloading. Thanks to an advanced waste management system, plastic film residues are granulated and collected in special bins, allowing the customer to resell the waste monomaterial, transforming a cost into an economic resource.

We have responded to this challenge with the thermoformer VKF110, our top of the range for performance and integrated technological controls. The machine has been configured to handle movies in PP (polypropylene) of significant thicknesses, ensuring perfect welding even on monofilm materials.
The large loading area allows the automatic dosing of several products simultaneously, while the system of Cut into a shape ensures a precise finish for each format. The line is completed by an advanced vision system that controls the welding perimeter, automatically discarding any non-compliances, double-sided labeling machines and an alignment system for automatic packaging. When the plant is closed, an end-of-line granulator recovers plastic film waste, making them ready for the recycling circuit.
